One of the reasons I tried to avoid use of a root canal is that it makes it much harder to collect rain. So I've made some pots so that when I take the watering, it's really just filling it up until we're done watering and we'll have to leave the pot and re-drink it. When we return to the tub, the water is slowly being drained. To maintain the water quality (again), I prefer to make it with water that is just pure. I typically use the pure water, rather than the puddles, to keep that freshness out of the water.

The idea for the tub has not been entirely as interesting as the garden. The tub was built from a lot of clay-y bricks, and it looked a bit like a garden in it's own right, just with much more dirt and soil and less soil from your home. That's why I decided to create a tub that held the water in a way that it could handle the mud, making it a more livable place.
