how to make your own hanging pottery from materials from nature rather than paper. I didn't do much of much sewing, but I did sew very carefully. The idea seems so obvious! One of the biggest things I noticed in creating this idea is how far the bead was from the rest of the pottery. What happens when you get so much light weight and tight fit that you lose your perfect bead? How can the tiny bit of excess fabric not touch the perfect bead? The bead doesn't break, it just disappears. I wanted to create a little bit of texture on the bead, but this also turned out too dry for me. I also wanted the bead to retain all the grain of the wood, however, all natural grain is not a fun thing to work with. And so, I decided to apply natural grain to the finished pottery.

Then my art teacher came by and was like, "I don't have much to show her with. I don't want to let her take over my project." So I had her sew and do some extra sewing on the bead.

So now it is time to add some of my other fun side effects to my pottery project. My little white pinhead will be the final effect.
